There's this area in Oregon, between the Pass and Bend where there's not a lot of trees and it's all sky and desert. The sky is so huge and you can't help but notice it. It's really beautiful driving through there, especially on cloudy days.
In Savannah, it's a bit different. There's the huge trees that loom over everything and the really old buildings that sort of stick against everything. It's weird that the land's really flat, but somehow, it feels like you have to tilt your head back farther to see the sky. Just thinking about that recently. Pinky -c- me |
